Breeds

There are a few different greyhound mixes.

Lurcher - The most common breeds that you mix with are besides different sighthounds that are to dominate in %, so it is most border collie and stafford and then it can be a few % of other whey, terrier breeds. German Shepherd also occur very often, which is a shepherd / watchdog from the beginning who has been classified as a working dog because of their incredible cooperative ability and everything in all usefulness. And bird dogs start to become a common feature, and often pointers. Many times you do not know what breeds are in a lurcher but you see it on the narrow greyhound body.

Greyster is a cross between greyhound and vorsteh or pointer that was "created" in Norway in the 1980s to produce a fast and durable draft dog. Widely used as a sled and bike dog. The grayster may also have a little Alaskan Husky in it.

In the United States / Canada, Sibirian Husky is mixed with greyhound or other sighthounds and many times pointer / vorsteh also to produce a faster and more durable sled dog in cold climates. This is not a Greyster but an Alaskan Husky which is a mixed breed.

Longdog is a cross between only sighthound breeds. Not to be associated with the Hot dog, which is only a mix of sausage and bread 😉

Bull-lurchern is a breed type built on bull terrier breeds and Greyhound, It is a breed type that should be like a terrier but lighter in the body and faster through the greyhound. The most common are Staffordshire Bull Terriers and Greyhound

Galgo is a greyhound mix in Spain that should not be associated with the purebred Galgo Español (the Spanish greyhound). The owner and breeder call the Galgo Español only for Galgo and do not really like to call the mix Galgo.
